Upon successful identify verification (KYC), you will be able to enjoy all the products and services available on Steaker, including Wallet (deposit, withdraw, swap), Portfolio (subscribe, renew, redeem), and Referral to earn yourself bonuses.
KYC Guidelines (Web)
Go to “Account” and click “Identification”
“Identification” consists of two parts: SMS (phone) & Profile verification
1. SMS (Phone) Verification:
Select your Country/Region, and then enter your phone number. Next, click “Verify”, and you’ll receive an SMS Code. Enter this code to complete the verification.
2. Profile Verification:
2-1. Complete your profile
• For those who select “Taiwan” for Country/Region, please have your ID Card ready, and enter your identity information as instructed by the text in light gray in each box. Note that you should enter your birthday using C.E. and date of issue with Minguo calendar.
• For those who select somewhere else for Country/Region, please have your passport ready, and enter your idenity information as required.
• Services are currently unavailable to those who are citizens/residents of the U.S. or Japan.
2-2. Upload Photos
The photos uploaded should meet the following requirements:
➀ Clear and uncropped color photos where your credentials and information must be easily visible.
➁ .jpg or .png only
➂ Image size between 100KB - 5MB
• For those who selected “Taiwan” for Country/Region, please upload THREE images: ➊ ID Card front, ➋ ID Card back, and ➌ a selfie that includes your face, the front of your ID card, and a hand-written note with the date of signup (today) and the description "Only for Steaker" on it. Please make sure all the information is clearly visible.
• For those who selected somewhere else for Country/Region, please upload TWO images: ➊ Profile page of your passport, and ➋ a selfie that includes your face, the profile page of your passport, and a hand-written note with the date of signup (today) and the description "Only for Steaker" on it. Please make sure all the information is clearly visible.
If you have network problems during the upload, please clear all cookies in your browser and try again.
Upon successful submission, it will take approximately 3～5 working days (excluding holidays) to review your documents. Please be patient and keep an eye on your inbox.
If your profile verification goes through, you will be notified of your successful profile verification with an email.
If your profile verification is unsuccessful, you will be notified of your failed profile verification with an email that details the reason(s), which include(s) but not limited to: applicants under the age of 20, discrepancy between the information you entered and that of your ID card, etc. If you have any queries, please contact our Customer Support.
